Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, this is brother Frank speaking to you from the International Mission Center in Krefeld, Germany.
We’re so grateful to Almighty God for the past weekend meetings. People again came from all over Europe, driving more than 1,500 km to be with us, to receive the Word of God and to be prepared for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. If we look into what God is doing right now worldwide, it is never being on earth as it is right now. Even the transmission of the sermons – people in 172 countries can join us online and listen to the preaching and be prepared for the coming of our beloved Lord and Savior. We believe with all our hearts that the return of our beloved Lord and Savior is very, very near. And we do believe the promise our Lord made in John 14 will soon be fulfilled. The promise is known to all of us, our Lord said: ”I go to prepare the place, then I will return and take you to be where I am.”
At the same time we recognize what God has done in our time, fulfilling Malachi 4 verse 5 and 6 – the Lord promised to send a prophet like Elijah before the day of the Lord would come. And, beloved, I count it a very, very special privilege to have known brother Branham personally for 10 years. And just a few weeks ago, on August 15th, it was 61 years ago when I shook brother Branham's hand for the first time.
Beloved, God ordains ministries, He gives calls, He is in charge of His own plan of salvation. And as the Scripture says in Ephesians chapter 4 from verse 11: ”God has placed into the church…” Not a man! Not a bishop, not a prophet! ”God has placed into His church all the different ministries for the upbuilding of the body of Christ…”
And, beloved, we know that brother Branham had a special call – no-one on earth ever had such a ministry. Actually, it was a repeating of the ministry our Lord and Savior had, when He walked as Son of Man in His prophetic ministry. He could tell who Peter was, who Nathaniel, who Philip, He could tell the woman at the well who she was and what she had done. This ministry I have seen with my own eyes many times in Germany and also in the United States. Beloved, I'm an eyewitness to what God has done in our time. And after the ministry of brother Branham who was told to store in the food… and by the way, he said only in Jeffersonville he could teach doctrines, so he said: ”The storehouse is right here in Jeffersonville.” Not in Phoenix, not in Tucson, not here or there, but in his own church where he could open up his heart and share the mysteries of God.
Beloved, the same man of God, who was told to store in the food by the angel of the Lord himself… The same Lord God spoke to brother Frank: ”Store in the food!” And the same William Branham, God's servant and prophet on December 3rd, 1962 in the presence of Fred Sothman and Banks Woods said: ”Brother Frank, the food you are to put in store is the promised Word of God for this day and it's kept in the messages, which are being taped.“ And then the advised me to receive all the sermons, every sermon he preached. And he sent me to Theo Mercer, that he should give me a few sermons. And he gave me five sermons and I took them with me. And that was of course in June 1958 and the other experience in December 1962.
I just mentioned these things that you should and would know that brother Frank did not do something of himself – I was directly called to the ministry as the apostles were, as brother Branham was – so I was called by the audible direct voice of the Lord on April 2nd, 1962. And William Branham, God's prophet, repeated every word the Lord has spoken to me on that April 2nd.
Beloved, I'm not a storyteller, I'm telling you the truth. And therefore I want you to understand that I cannot agree with any adding to the Word of God or any interpretation – about thunders, about the third pull, about, about… No, I cannot! I must see it in the Word of God. William Branham was not sent to start a new religion. He was not sent to take us away from the Word. He was not sent to give his own interpretation! William Branham was a man sent from God with the Word of God, with the message of the hour, to bring us back to the original Word of God, not adding or taking away from it.
And then of course having the special call and responsibility with his direct ministry we have to pay attention to everything he said. And secondly not only one quote, but the next and the next and the next… And then – that's not sufficient – you have to take all the statements he made back into the Word of God! And here it is, beloved brothers and sisters.
I'm grieved in my spirit, because of all the different interpretations of all the brothers. They refer to the prophet – one goes into this direction, the other into this, the other into that direction, there are more than 9 directions and everybody says “The prophet said, the prophet said!” Stop it! Stop it! Come back to the Word of God and don't make the prophet as a shield before you to get the attention of people. This is the great problem: Those who don't have a call to the ministry, they say: “The prophet said, the prophet said…,” just hiding their own interpretations behind the prophet.
Beloved brothers, that is not right. I say again: There is no person living on earth who loved William Branham more than I do. I remember the times I spent with him – be it eating at the same table, driving in the same car, being in his meetings in Germany and the USA, in his home having tea, speaking in the tabernacle on December 2nd, 1962, preaching in the morning service and preaching in the evening service.
Beloved, but what I cannot stand is all the wrong teachings and then the reference being made to William Branham. This I cannot stand. William Branham was a man sent from God with the message of God to the people of God to bring us back to the original Word of God, to the Bible, to the doctrine of the apostles and if we respect the Word of God, we will take everything he said back to the Scriptures and only then we all shall speak the same language, we shall be brought back to the original foundation, to the original teachings, to the original blessings of Almighty God.
Be honest, brothers and sisters, what does it help you spiritually if somebody says: “The prophet said, the prophet said…”? You need true fellowship with Jesus Christ. We are not brought back to the prophet, we're brought back to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Because you all know the scribes in John chapter 8 were reading and reading and searching and searching in the Scriptures and our Lord said: “You search the Scriptures and you think you have eternal life in them but to me you don't wish to come.” This is the big problem! You can search the Scriptures, you can search the sermons of brother Branham, unless you come back to Jesus Christ and have your personal relationship with Him, having received the forgiveness of sins, the justification by the blood shed on the cross of Calvary, renewed and born again by the Holy Spirit, having the true life of God, eternal life and also the true love of God.
My eyes look at 1st Corinthians chapter 13. If we knew all the mysteries… if we had faith to move the mountains… if we had… if we had… but if we don't have the love of God – the love for the truth. And our Lord said: “My Word is the truth, sanctify them in the truth!”
Beloved, nobody will see God without sanctification. Not your own justification, not your own sanctification, but justified by faith and the finished work on the cross of Calvary.
And I'm asking this question: “Who in the so-called message is preaching the full gospel? Who is preaching repentance? Who is preaching the fundamental doctrines of the Bible?” Everybody says “The prophet said… the prophet said…” My God, I want to know what God said! And our Lord at first said: “You must be born again, otherwise you cannot see the kingdom of God.” [Jn 3:7]
So, beloved, it's not just to talk about the prophet and to talk about the message! Do you know Jesus Christ? Do you know Him in the power of His resurrection? Do you walk with him? Do you talk with him? Beloved, only those who are ready will be in the marriage supper of the Lamb. And this is the calling-out time, this is the preparation time, this is the separation time – from all unbelief, from all that is not in agreement with the Word of God.
Let us summarize what we must say today. Our Lord and Savior is ready to come. If we open our eyes, things have never been on earth as they are right now. Where is the family? Where is the marriage? Where are the things as they have been? Today – just total Sodom and Gomorrah, total confusion, but the Lord brings us back into the Bible pattern. And, beloved, it's absolutely necessary to be found in the Word of God and in the will of God. “Not mine, but Thy will be done.” [Lk 22:42] Who are my brothers? Who are my sisters? Our Lord said: “Those who do the will of God, they are my brothers, they are my sisters.” [Mt 12:50]
Beloved, let me say this in love: We see the signs of the end-time and our Lord said: “When you see all these things come to pass, then look up for your redemption is drawing near.” [Lk 21:28]
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, may our God, the only true God there is, do something extraordinary in the absolute immediate future among all those who claim to believe the message. That in every city we come together seeking the Lord in prayer until the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the total restoration can take place! Don't have your own ways anymore! Return to the Lord and be blessed with the blessings of Almighty God in Jesus' holy name. Amen.
