Report from Romania meetings - July 2005

I just came back from Timisoara, Romania, where this weekend a meetings with br.Frank took place. I am still overwhelmed, touched and blessed by atmosphere which surrounded both meetings and the Holy Spirit which was in the mightily work in the whole congregation.
We have heard encouraging and serious words, which could not leave anybody who respects Word of God without eternal influence.
I have to confess attitude of brothers and sisters in Romania put me to shame. In the next few paragaphs I will try to explain why.
Being in Romania for the first time in my life, I saw how hard life there can be, but still, our brothers and sisters in Romania come to hear the Word of the Lord from as far as 400-500 km. And believe me, 1 km in Germany or Slovakia is not 1 km in Romania. My car can testify of that.
Romanian nation is 87% orthodox, 4.7% catholic, 7.5% protestant including pentecostal.
The meetings took place in Cinema Timis, which, I guess, has capacity around 500 people and it was full. I arrived about 1 hour before the scheduled start of the meeting and it was already about 60% full.
More than that, I experienced the unity of brethren, as well as the love and the humbleness of ministers of our Lord during both days of the meetings and after them.
Regular meetings take place every month in the middle of the country, where 700-800 people are regularly gathered.
We wish to our brothers and sisters in Romania God's richest blessings.
Audio recordings of the meetings are here.
